Aware Central Texas employs the following strategies to raise awareness about the prevention of child abuse:
- Distributes child abuse prevention materials and information such as positive parenting brochures.
- Maintains a media presence to advocate for children and educate the public about how each of us can become involved in the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
- Provides speakers to service clubs, schools, and other organizations who are interested in child abuse prevention or the dynamics associated with the abuse and neglect of children.
